Raybrig NSX2000 is Tamiya's first 'roadgoing' TB01 with (ignoring the TB Evos) - most other TB01s are rallycars.
This TB01 kit has the lightweight aluminium centre shaft and plastic diff gears, which replace cast steel items for a 130g weight saving (parts all available as option). NSX body is 'shared' with new stickers, no chassis cover with driver figures as on rally cars. This kit also has a larger pinion and 2 extra 1080 ballbearings for the plastic diff which the rally kits don't have.
If buying this kit to build, make sure you can buy the Limited Edition 'Raybrig Blue' PS spray paint for the body.. its a special shade. (update - paint is now a catalog regular item) [by WillyChang]
