When I was young, I was always interested in the hobby. As a family, we started to enjoy the hobby when my sons were very young. It is great to share common interests with your family, we also used RC model building as a teaching tool for following directions, analysis, problem resolution, develop their fine motor skills and just plain fun. Through the years, we have built and collected RC cars, boats, planes and helicopters as well as electric trains and slot cars. For us this hobby has become a life long enjoyment. We have many brands in our collection, but Tamiya is the brand that stands out, as their kits are great.
