Hi all. I started in RC Cars in the early 80's, when I was bought a Subaru Brat for my birthday. I quickly got into 4wd with a Hotshot, then a Supershot. Moved over to Kyosho with the Rocky and Optima. I soon found the need for more competitive cars, and moved onto a Schumacher CAT XLS (which I used to collect a few trophies with). Stopped racing in the late 80's. Started collecting when I did a search on web sites for Tamiya Hotshot in late 2002. My favourite kits are the 4WD buggies of the 80's and early '90's.
Update Feb 2011. Now moved to Perth WA Australia. Hope there are Tamiya enthusiasts over here.
