I first got into R/C back in 1985 when I was 10 years old with a Tamiya Frog. I discovered how popular older Tamiya kits have become and then I started collecting back in 2000 and slowly my collection has grown every since. We sell Tamiya, Associated and other R/C parts on our site at www.Finishlinehobbies.com and we hunt high and low for those hard to find parts to bring them to collectors.. I raced in the TCS series out in California the past and participate in our R/C tank club -DAK- www.desertarmor.com . Back in 2003 after race #100 I got the chance to visit Tamiya America that following Monday. I was given a tour of the warehouse and shipping/recieving area. I was in heaven!! There was so much product to see (even if it was boxed) and the parts system they use to access everything is awesome! Tamiya America has since moved to a boring office complex but you can still see a number of thier models on display at Ultimate Hobbies in Anaheim, California. Tamiya has lent them a number of thier models from their old showroom to help sell Tamiya models. As for my collection I am at about 41 models and have almost no room left to show them off in the garage. Check out the link at my site on this page. I am still on the look out though for a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner so if you have one sitting in your backyard shoot me an email! Tamiya Club has been great and I look foward to getting some r/c time in whenever I can. See ya at the track! Thanks for checking out my showroom! Check us out on Ebay. The link is in our trade section and our Ebay id is: Tamiyatown. We will ship almost anywhere and will give a discount to TC members. Just ask for the discount on postage. Thanks, Artie
