Growing up in the eighties, Tamiya was just too expensive. So I was another Nikko victim, drooling over Tamiya models/movies in the LHS like many others on this site. Some years back I started flying nitro model airplanes, which brought me back to the world of RC. I then made the mistake of typing 'Tamiya beetle' on eBay. Soon I had purchased a used Blitzer beetle, then came a Monster beetle and then a Sand Scorcher, and after that pretty much any RC beetle I could get my hands on. Now it's pretty much every Tamiya NIB kit I can get my hands on...
