I've had Tamiya cars since 1982. I got meningitis on boxing day 1982, I was 7 years old, and after 2 weeks of touch and go I made it through. After a few days rest at home playing with xmas prezzies my dad took me to Beatties of Sheffield and bought me a Sand Rover deal for £78. It even came with the blue and white Beatties bag...the one with the SS on it!! I've had various models over the years buyin' 'em, sellin' 'em. At the mo I have a few models in various states of build progress.
I've been a daily visitor to TC for the last few years and I'm just amazed by some of the models on here.
