got my first tamiya when i was twelve, it was a grasshopper 2 'super G' apparently. that meant it had 540 motor and dayglo wheels as opposed to the normal grasshopper 2. the hobby has been with me since. a couple of years later i got a toyota hi lux (not the cool 3 speed one but the one that had a twin sister in the nissan king kab), but that has now been cannabilised onto my mates old blackfoot. looks good, really low centre of gravity, we're quite proud of it! left it for a few years then bought a cobra mustang svt (the stars and stripes one) my brother bought a cossie and away we went. currently own all the aforementioned cars (thinkin about puttin hi lux back together but need spares) a lunch box which i've just bought a chrome midnight pumpkin shell for, a dark impact which i want hop ups for, two schumacher missions and an associated rc10 T4 which i LOVE! just bought an rc10B2 on e bay but not got delivery yet, can't wait! another classic!
added on 16th/3/08: much of the above is still true however, i got my DI fully blinged up courtesy of 3racing, yeah racing and so on but also got given a tl01 supra which i converted to a drifter. its a sweet ride.....
