got into the hobby 10yrs ago with my dad , he died when i was 18 so my tamiya models went in the loft and garage. I dusted them off recently and have really got back into it.My clod is my pride and joy she is an original but spent the last 6yrs in pieces in a damp garage , i managed to source many new parts from tonys tamiya on e-bay and treated her to a complete nut and bolt restoration encluding 2 new 540 rs motors new speed cont , 2nd hand shell spayed first with a chrome undercot then a mer purple , along with new roll bar and spot lamps.I have recently purchased a midnight pumpkin from ebay whcih i am slowly restoring.My existing collectiom encludes a tamiya lancia delta rally car whci does need a new shell(if any 1 can help) a merc touring car which is sadly in bits (again if any 1 can help) custoized hilux which needs new electrics , a QD monster beetle.Thats it at the mo.
