Have loved r/c cars since owning a (toy) r/c VW Golf when I was about 9, then later discovered Tamiya cars, which I owned my first of when I was about 13, a 2nd hand Boomerang. I soon got seriously into racing buggy's, owning Kyosho Optima's, Schumacher Cat, a couple PB cars. I started to get a bit disheartened at the amount of cash I was having to spend to race competitively. Forward 15 years, and for the last few years I've raced Mardave v12 cars (although I haven't for a few months now). Anyhoo, this site has been recommended by a fellow member, after I purchased a Bigwig off eBay, which I want to restore. Hoping to shortly add to this, will be keeping my eye on here and eBay!
