Charel G.: 2 rovers, 1 yota
Thanks. :-) I fixed the winch hook on the door's window frame. The door handle would have come off indeed if I had fixed the winch there.

Wyoming: Cc01 land cruiser fj40 first run
Looks very nice with the matte finish and I also like those wheels on it. Shame about that nice wheel hub though.

Charel G.: More snow than expected
Thanks. :-) The Unimog is all custom made from ground up. You can see the build pictures here: http://www.rc-monster-trucks.de/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=26668&pageNo=1 It's German only though.

Charel G.: Land rovers
Thanks a lot again. I wouldn't consider myself a Land Rover sepcialist. I don't know much about them. :-) But they are easy and fun to build and they do look good.

yogi-bear: Help identifying toyota landcruiser body
Look for an RC4WD Gelände chassis. It fits this body like a glove. They aren't cheap but well worth the money.

yogi-bear: Help identifying toyota landcruiser body
That's an Aoshima/Skynet FJ40 body. They are pretty rare and they sell for a pretty penny. So you can count yourself lucky for being given one. :-) I've got two of these and have mounted them to custom chassis. Here's one of them: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=107163&sid=12976 And the other one: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=109827&sid=12976 I'd say, mount it to a nice scale chassis like I did. They make for very nice vehicles.

Charel G.: Rock buggy and hilux
Thanks for the nice comments. :-) Being referred to as a Master Jedi of great pics isn't something that I expected, so thanks a lot for that. The spot where we run our trucks used to be an iron ore quarry, so there's lots of rocks and loose debris to crawl over. It is a great place indeed.

Wow, very nice rig. I love the sohrt COE's. I like the used look on it too. Very convincing. A second trailer behind it would be fun, wouldn't it. :-)

Charel G.: Defender and jeep on the trails
I've torn it apart this morning and saw right away what the problem was. The drive shaft between the gear reduction unit and the transfer case had a lot of play and was a bit too short aswell so it wasn't turning properly which caused the knocking noise. I replaced it with a new one and now it almost silent. And I'll probably change the ESC aswell since this one isn't very precise.

Thanks. I used the hood of a New Bright hardbody. Don't know if the Proline body would fit. It should though.

Nice yota, love the used look on it. How do you like the 110 body from RC4WD. Is it worth the money? I´m thinking about getting me one myself. :-)
