JWeston: The collection, may 2013
John what will become the limiting factor; the length of your garden or the size of your spare room or are these babies stored in the master? lol ;) I see someone liked to be in on the action there, I hope he wasn't accidentally packed away in one of those boxes afterwards! Great collection mate.

JWeston: Jun watanabe uk 027
Personally I'd have kept '123' John. But I know what you mean about having a low number, same with me on the GT-01 Black Porsche - very happy with number 20 :)

TamTom: Hotshot ii
Has to be one of the best box designs ever, not forgetting it was the only Silver box.

MAD-BEE: From one hotshot to another
He was an amazing driver and the recent movie is definitely worth a watch. An iconic driver with an iconic buggy, see he got the Mk2 version though! :D

Rosey: Distinguishing the hotshot, supershot and hotshot ii
John, no difference at all with the cages, they are identical on all four ''original''models, Mk1/2, SS and HS2. The re issue HS cage however (and Super Hotshot) comes with a supporting brace for the wing strut and so is easily distinguishable.

Wandy: Another top notch re-release.
Cracking re issue and goes someway to filling the void of my nib original I sold. This has to be built for sure although a spare nib is pretty handy to have as well! :p

c_smith: The collection no longer has to hide
Absolutely superb Chris. You have there pretty much everything I'd consider worthy of having in a collection. Looking forward to the Hilux too and if the other new builds are anything to go by, I am sure it’ll be painted perfectly :)

JWeston: 'early' 'mki' 'flawed' hotshot. love it. part 2
My Mk1 manual also says 0385 and I have a Mk2 manual that says 0485 as well. This in my mind confirms that the Mk1 Hotshot was only produced for 1 month before being revised. Also I notice that the model number was added at the bottom of each page for the Mk2.

sunnyjai: The bog boss blazing blazer!
This is a nice addition for sure Sunny. Saw this advertised and contemplated it myself I must admit. I am a stickler for box-art but have to say that these do look great in red. Look forward to seeing the finished product

Wandy: Santa does a re-run of christmas day 1985.
Ah mate, like you did last year, I signed in especially to see this. An early Mk2 version and it looks immaculate, a superb addition if I may say so myself. Merry Christmas Andy and I hope you've spoilt your mum as well :D

sunnyjai: The super champ - the definitive vintage srb?
Yes considered by many as a faux SRB but I am not entirely sure what constitutes an SRB anyway?? For me, this is the best of the four, it looks great and I love the box art. They are definitely the least collectible though which is odd but great for those that appreciate them :D
