gecko-no-more: Any idea's ??? found it, nitro hawk !!!!!!
oops, spoke too soon. Turns out it's actually a Flying Point Enterprise PIZAZZ - TK1. Apparenty a 'good copy' of the Nitro Hawk. That'll explain the FP's stamped on the rear arms.

Cheers for the input guys, just been doing a bit more research and found out it's a Traxxas Nitro Hawk ( circa 1992 ish) Not sure whether to try and get it running or just shift it on as a project. Any Traxxas fans out there with any advice ????? Cliff

def4x4: Scale 2cv expedition
Very cool, and a great job you've done there. Makes me wish I still had my first cars, a 2CV and Dyane at the same time. They were soooo much fun, and mega cheap to run too. Keep up the good work.

Wez-li: From rags to riches... egress restoration!
Just gotta love the look of these, let alone how they drive. I've recently picked up a couple of project cars/trucks only to give up and let em go but I'm deff' gonna strip and lovingly re-build my Egress I've just got. Might even treat it to a new shell and go box art on it as you can't beat the sleak lines in that silver. Mine just looks like any other generic buggy atm in the scheme it's in. Thanks for the extra inspiration.

Thunderchunk66: Power house for my blitz
you should be very happy with the peformance of this setup. I have the 7700kv set in my slash and it really is mental. I think there may be more 'POWER' than Clakson himself could handle. lol Enjoy !!!!!!

3SPD REKR: Scx10 - stocker - need members advice for project
good choice you made there. I love my honcho , so capable outta the box, and the possibilities are endless. I've not made any mod's to my chassis as yet apart from a rear winch mount, and my shell's still stock apart from loads of add on's I've made recently, but I'm slowly getting braver with my fabbing so it's only a matter of time........ and btw, if you decide to get rid of this shell when your hard body's done ;-)

how about a small spacer made from some thin walled tube to go over some of the threaded part which will then extend the shaft for your rims ???

In an out and out crawling comp yep, it would be cheating, but in the 1:1 challenge scene it's standard issue. Slimmy, nothad a bruiser for yrs now so either you're mixing me up with someone else or you're confused over my models. lol.
