gecko-no-more: Any idea's ??? found it, nitro hawk !!!!!!
Definitly not a RC10GT. the Sledgehammer was more a Monster-truck than a Stadium, but I also would say itīs a Traxxas or an old Schumacher...

Pee-Wee: Vintage hopup-frog - front suspension 'crp'
I used salt - but thereīs only a grea shade on the shock-parts. The other pars (bumper, stiffener, etc...) went black (really black; black-black) in a few minutes.

Yes - Iīve tried it with RIT - doesnīt work on the shock-parts :-( Rit-Dye is great - but it doesnīt work on all type of plastics.....

Pee-Wee: Will be a runner - soon !!!!!
For the frame itself: itīs a black frame from the KingBlackfoot. The other parts are dyed with Rit-dye. Itīs a product only avalable in the USA (Iīm from Austria - cost me a fortune). You take an old pot, boil a little water, put in the dye + the parts. After a few minutes, they are black (works great with those parts - there are many other colors avalable)

The chassis, gearcase-cover & front-bumper-parts are from Ebay. The shocks (You-G) are from a TC-member and the wheels/tires are from a hobbyshop (Lindinger in Austria). The reinforcements on the rear dampers (I thing youīre talking about the small parts on the rear mount of the rear damper) arenīt metal - they are made of fiberglass from a TC-member (Sorry - forgot his name - the same guy who made the dogbone-conversion and the hex-adapters 2 years before Tamiya). The rest of the car was build out of my 'Frog-Graveyard' (3 1/2 Frogs I found over the years.)

carbonman: Hog heaven anno 2006 bruiser?!
Iīm loving it !!! Iīm curious when weīll see the next 'Old-Tamiya-Pickup-Style' - Hi-Lifts - After seeing your 'Bruiser-Hi-Lift', I can imagine that many people will try your idea... (How about a 'Ford F150-Hi-Lift' or a 'Black-Foot-Lift' ;-)

They are made by carson. Only availyble as a set (2 fronts, 2 rears) and allready glued. Bought them at LINDINGER (a great distrubtor in Austria). Here they are: http://shop.lindinger.at/product_info.php?cPath=1210_1519_1258&products_id=53617

zakspeed: Ford racing truck ? tried somat differant. now sold on :-(
Donīt want to say that the other memberīs HiLifts would look bad, but I have to say that I really like Ford-Works-Racing-Paintjob! I hope that Tamiya will release a HiLift-based 'Racer' (like the Blazing Blazer, which was also a scaled-down Blazer from the Baja 500) in the near future!

Pee-Wee: Wild willy 2
I donīt really like it. Itīs an old Humbrol enamel colour (airbrushed) and it should be metallic blue (Colour No. 52 - like anodized aluminium-parts). It would have been needed a priming + an underlay with silver...

Nice idea - but I think 4 wheels give a little more stability ;-) (the front wheels & tires will be the same as the rears - just narrow)

tamiyatom: Custom nismo
Sadly that HPI has discounted this chassis years ago - I bet this is one of the best TA01/02 HopUps - Would be great for a TA01-Buggy! (OK - The main-driveshaft isnīt the best, but itīs easy to build a custom one out of a carbon- or aluminium-tube...)
