Hi Raman36, I am most likely going with 1.5's from RC4WD. Either stamped steel or beadlock. I need to sell some items on eBay first to raise funds!

Appreciate the comments! Raman36-I saw your post/replied. Thanks! It was helpful. The Frog axles might do the trick although I plan on using 1.5 wheels so there might not be an escape from modifying them.

Hi TA-Mark, Based on the parts I have, I can give you the difference in width between the two axle set ups, outer dimensions from hub carrier to hub carrier. Right now the Scorcher measures ~15.8cm, the Scorpion ~17cm. If I had to, I could move the arms in should I not find the right wheel off-sets. Please send me an email if this did not help. I can provide more details.

Thanks guys! The rear swing arm assembly is adjustable front to rear also so I can adjust wheelbase if I need more or less clearance. Still no plans to produce the chassis. I would need to find another method or vendor to make the numbers work.

Thanks again for all the great feedback. Boogyloop-I don't have any pictures but will try to describe: First thing was to drill clearance holes in the Kubelwagen centers for the axles. I wound up using the Maisto axles in front and some threaded M3 rod for the back, as the Kubel wheels require additional width. Then, I cut the hubs out of of the original Maisto wheels and was able to mount them to the Kubelwagen wheel centers. That's pretty much it.
