MAD-BEE: Baja champ! had to have one for the beach!
With the removal of the rear wing, the mean Black paint job and the Retro Gold Hotshot wheel, its totally changed the look of this car... for the better I might add ;)

Dirt-540: Grasshopper 2 / old battered worn tatty repaired but never broken (before)
Hmmm... That car looks strangely familure? Great to see that you took the time to do a 'wldnas' inspired write up of the story surrounding the how, when and why you got acquired this car, love how you highlighted the crack in the rear wing in photo #4, flag you like the car, pleasure to trade with you, when your better we'll have to reconvene for that coffee ;)

markwhittaker: Something totally different kyosho nexxt
If you was to paint it green, take the roof off and fit a gun enplacement to the rear you could then call it a warthog...

ipkiss: Will be box art shelfer
It's amazing the difference a quick wash & brush up in some warm soapy waters does to plastic chassis & suspension parts

sludgeguts: Yokomo yz 834b dogfighter
I was never really a fan of the 834B Dogfighter? However more recently I have mellowed a bit and would now like to add one to my collection, However but given all the variants for the 834B this is the one that I want, the original style of body and the front & rear monoshock set up

wldnas: Ayk viper: take 2
Further UPDATE: I just can't leave my viper alone just lately, not only do I have a driver figure in the car now covering up the radio batteries that are now sat in a bespoke made recessed tray in the top chassis deck, but today I've done the impossible, rebuild the missing front of the chassis and the car now has its original front bumper and nose cone cover fitted, I'll have to do another showroom entry now to show off all the latest work that's been done ;)

wldnas: Ayk viper: take 2
Ok guys I've been at it again, I've been working on the Viper yet again, doing more ingenious improversational work, I've done so much more work to the car since this post I'm considering doing Viper: take 3 ;)

Aussie Top Force: Leonis db02 - l=plate car for daughter
there is a reason for the offset bevel gear in the center gear case, its so that both ends of the drive shaft rotate in the same direction, it is usual way of doing a right angle drive onto from a spur gear onto a drive shaft, normally one set of bevel would do, but I guess because of the extra ball races to balance the spur gear shaft properly this was the best way to do it, double propshafts with offset beval gear drives.

beefmuffin: What's the right word for a group of pegasuses?
Ironically... My first rc car was a Pegasus and my second a Hornet, needless to say I still have my first rc car and it takes pride of place in my collection, crude as the peg is I love it and both the kyosho & Cox versions just coz it was my first car, and even though it was not yours but your brothers first car you can relate to that too ;)

Road Burner: Traxxas bullet
Are you sure that's a bullet you have there? It looks more like a Radicator to me as the body is wrong.

wldnas: A means to an end
If you want to see a rc car that has been used fir ditch digging kontemax then I suggest that you check out my Kyosho Icarus restoration before I fixed it up :S also sorry that I deleted your other posting by mistake as I was viewing it on my mobile browser and my chunky finger hit the delete tab by mistake when I went to accept it?

Mincemeat: Finally restored it!
I have a new built Traxxas Bullet, I love the look of the thing, very much an RC10 B1 wannabe, but very cool, however have you run youes yet? you will find that it is PIG SLOW with a stock 540, even with the 4 speed MSC the gearing is couse and crude and I personally would upgrade the gearbox with Radicator gearing before thinking about running it seriously, its makes a cool shelf queen though
