description  Hi all. My scania is naked ! I was never happy with the finish on my scania, it was a bit orange peel and the coverage wasn't great. So, time for a change. Thoughts and ideas for a new scheme welcome. P.S Anyone know the best way to remove paint ?

This project was completed a while back. Used brake fluid to remove the paint. A 24 hour soak did the trick !

I was told to try brake fluid. Left the parts in for a week while on holiday and the paint still didn't come off. Resorted to fine wet or dry paper and lots of soapy water. Respray came out a treat.

Best stuff is Mr Muscle oven cleaner! Spray on. Strip's the life out of any paint lol. I use it a lot on hard shells like lunchbox e.t.c. Give it a test try just to be happy first but trust me it does the job.

if it's just orange peely, just flat it with 1200 wet and dry and repaint. It will do it good to have some more layers on. You only start to lose detail when you pile the paint on. If you want to strip the paint do a search on the forums - lots of hints and tips there ..
