| description | Hi again, Its been a while since my last upload, but I had some other things going that needed attention. My latest passion is the early Kyosho Ultima. I have an original one that I'm restoring to bone stock boxart right now. And two Ultima based Sideways, one will be a brushless runner. I came across this very good condition chassis on eBay. Had to buy one of Marwans great repro shells and stickers for it. I soon knew I wanted to go custom with lots of hop ups. Here's a list of all the mods: - UM-27 Special chassis (much stronger!) - UM-28 Motor Guard (hard to find, came from Australia!) - UM-29 Stabilizer Set - OT-64 Special Wing chromed - W-0109 Option House Ball Differential - W-5078 Option House Rear Tyres - Le Mans 240ST motor - Tamiya F201 turnbuckles for steering and control arms (great and cheap alternative) - Yeah Racing shocks with Tamiya springs and TRF pistons - Wheels dyed black - Roof polished to mirror finish - Usual alloy bling Hope you guys like it, even if its not a Tamiya again... |
