Finally got around to finishing the body on my new SuperChamp runner. Left the front headlamps off deliberately btw - I usually knock these off ;)

I don't like Budweiser beer, other than that pretty box stock really.

Chassis resto is here : http://tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=99735&sid=26801

Window netting is Butterfly netting from eBay - worked really well and all of £2 for about 2 square meters of the stuff :)

Got the original MSC in it, because I've never used one and they always fascinating me a bit. Will probably swap out for a low end ESC after a couple of runs.

It's looking a bit dusty here - all the static from the washing up liquid I used when putting on the decals...

As it came....

I like it very much...a real racer look!
Only the front plastic arms... i don't like them. It's a shame on this beauty.

Looks very nice with that metallic color and black rims. Front bumper is also a nice touch.

Very smart, I like the black wheels, they change it completely from the standard white. Great finish all round

Thanks for the comments chaps. The wheels - was a fluke. They were in a mess, and I figured I may as well spray them matt black while I awaited delivery of the alloys I got for it. In the end I liked the way they look in black so left it. @TIXX74 - it came with a variety of period hop ups, including the CRP swing arms, coil over shocks, one piece alloy rear bumper etc etc. Part of its history - wouldn't be right to change it . I think this car was formerly owned by someone that raced it.
