description  I bought this little M03 chassis a couple month ago on a local trading site. It was partially built and never used. And since I'm not into mini's I knew straight away it wasn't going to be one. So I quickly sold the shell and decals, got some silicone sealed bearings for it the few parts that were missing and started thinking about the look it was gonna get. I really love Group B. rally cars and after my last Quattro project instantly thought of this classic. I knew I could get the repro body from Team Blue Groove and remembered the mention of this shell fitting on the M03. I thought; it's going to be a runner anyway, so what the hell, let's go for some sacrilege. And here it is: Fully balraced, Sporttuned motor, yeah racing oilfilled alu-shocks, cool Kawada rims and some nice M-chassis rally tires. The body was a challenge, especially the window rubbers and all the little details pinted from the outside. To start of with, the specific lexan brush paint was pretty hard to find (the only part that's not finnished yet, since I'm still waiting for a jar of orange are the indicator lights) and I'm not really keen on the big decals so I (spray) painted the big reds from the inside. Pretty tricky and not completely flawless (whatever, its a runner). The decals, by the way, came from Screenprintdigital. Last thing was the lights. I wanted the lights. I had bought the original light bucket parts (cost me a bundle) but missed the headlight stay plates. Member Gruntfuggly came to the rescue and sent me couple for free!!! Thanks again, Nige!!! I will be making a couple more to add fog lights and have created a bracket for rear/break lights. All lights are connected to a little light-unit I bought for close to nothing on a German site. I will show them operating in a short movie soon. Last thing on the list will be a cockpit. TBG repro again with repro heads and steering wheel coming for a steal from member Tamiyoman. Thanks for those!!! I have driven this little monster and it's fast and great to drive. I had heard and read it's fun and it's all true. And with the slightly longer shocks and rally tires, it's definitely got rally capabilities. Let me know what you think, and please don't be to hard on me....

Great chassis - I'd never have thought of putting the Celica on an M03!
