| description | This is from a toy i have bought last year and i want to make a light 2wd offroad vehicle based on some videos i've found on youtube. I'll going to use this body on a M04-L (beetle) chassis, but if i will find another chassis closer to real one for suspensions, then i'll use it( no, sand scorcher chassis is really too wide for this project. I am starting to remove the fictional windows (black plastic) with dremel and i'll replace them with some clear plastic from transparent boxes of fresh tomatoes. I'll plan to make a soda bath and then repaint it in cobalt green and white (the upper side). I think it will look awesome!
Then i plan to use some yellow fog lights on front bumper founded on tundra high-lift bumper, and make a roofrack using alloy and wood panels like the real one. They fit really well!!! I am not still sure about the wheels...maybe original m04 rims or maybe some vintage HPI rims or other with rally block tires. Some ideas are really appreciate!

I do not have a Buggy Champ for parts but I am looking forward to more updates! We need more builds with this body-
no...it's not finished..i need a Tamtech buggy champ chassis to goes on with it...even if i should paint and complete the body for now...do you know where can i get a tamtech buggy champ?
Hi Tixx have you finished this VW project? It would be nice to see it complete.
Thanks a lot Brayling...at the end of this summer, more sure for autumn...it's done!
love the fuchs they would look super, looking forward to seeing it done.
I've said in my first comment...it's a 1:10 Rc toy from Maisto
This looks great! What toy did you use to get the body? Nice work!
Great project!-mine is almost done (I am slow)-sent an application to join your SIG group. I am going to stay close to see how this comes out-look forward to it!
Caprinut, there are 8 for sale on ebay, i have buied another one from the same german seller..what's the problem with him?
Cool bus project... If you email me, I have pics of a 1:1 ofroad T1 if you are intrested.. I wanted to build a T1 earlyer this summer, but the german seller was not a man of his words ;-(
Maybe you can find interesting this one.. [Click here]
I have created a new 'SIG' group dedicated to all vw samba owners, like you can see at the top page!
Thanks beetlebum, i'll see, I have buied another Samba bus in the meantime..i love them!
got to go with the Fuchs wheels they look cool
Berman, i know the bulb set but i've found smaller ones 6v bulbs. And wheels i think even the HPI race cup for Porsche carrera looks awesome on this!
I'll follow this project with attention, I use the same base for my chocolate Double crew cab, it was in the same colour than yours, great project
I think the old #50320 light bulb set if you can fit it, and the classic MO4 beetle wheels or some mini monte carlo's. Either way, cool project and look forward to seeing the finished product!
nice work looking rad dude
amazing project!
Great project
Wow Tizer, you are right! But i don't know if it can fit the width. And i think i should extend the chassis wheelbase.
TamTech GB01 front suspension?
It's a 1:10 Rc toy from Maisto. It comes with front and rear led lights but i'll replace them with older light bulbs
pretty cool, who makes that body?
