I have not had as much time to go out and play lately but tonight I drove up in the mountains and played with my RC4wd Gelande for an hour or so and snapped a few quick pictures. All I've changed since last time is the New RC4wd licensed ARB diff covers which look quite good on it I think and add a little interest to the underside.

Show off the bottom side I need some stiffer tires I think going up into trees rock crawling with this makes me nervous always a good angle poser and again slow going tail shot -scale brush

That thing looks amazing! And heavy! Look at those tires squish! Really nice detail work, the diff covers look very good, and even love the authentic scratches on the shovel! Makes me wish I were into scale crawlers, but just is not my thing. Your's are wonderful though! Cheers!

The amount of detail on this truck is astounding. The amount of time and money invested to reach this level leads me to believe you are an unemployed millionaire, sitting in your den all day doing what all of us want to do

Unbelievable truck and pics, got no words left for this. Most of the pics are just 1:1 shots, nothing less.

Great to see this zebra Landy again, those diff covers are great. About your tires, have you tried to put some stiffer foam into them. Meby is there a local chair maker who used different kind of foamĀ“s! You can try it as first, but dont no if it helps for a heavy truck like this! All those RC4WD tires are really scale but olso soft, i saw it today i was running my Power Wagon. I think you need tires with a harder side wall!

The problem is the tires are glued solid to rims (these are the wider offset non-beadlock version of these wheels) so adding new foam would be a chore, easier just to buy new wheels and tires

if you think in scale terms, that is about right for the air pressure in an off road trail tire, there is almost no air in it at all. great pics too. i took a look at your profile pic and am wondering, are there even any targets out there

Wyoming

Yeah but these lead to roll overs since the tire folds under the wheel lol! Yes I was shooting at an old piece of furniture if I recall.

ha ha, yep, shot at old furniture many times my self the pic just looks like you jumped out of the car, let out a primal scream and started shooting. as for the tires, that is one heavy beast, i have seen some guys glue sidewalls from other tires inside for extra stiffness. i wonder if there is something you can inject into the foam through the tire without taking them off that would stiffen the foam?

Very cool pictures. Where does the name 'Gelande' come from? Sounds so familiar to my German ear? Funny to read.

I think beetleman is on to something. I have had this suspicion for some time now...hmmm.
Great scenes for the landy, showing some skill with the camera too. Nice.
