The nicest kit from Marui in my opinion. Incredible proportions, design and color combination outside and superb box art. A real RC jewel.

Indeed a nice kit! I once saw this one, when it was new in a local hobbyshop. I did not really realize what it was - was more into Tamiya, so I thought Marui what is that? but very very cool, I guess it will stay NIB?

If I was you I'd keep it as a MIB, I have a Shogun, those fancy gold spoked wheels are very brittle and break easily, the chassis is the Ninjas so fairly robust, Nice kit but not as nice as the Samurai kit which I think is one of the best MIB ever made.

This kit will be kept NIB! And yes, the Samurai is pretty too. The aluminium rims made it really special.

Terrific specimen. You know I rarely like other brands of RC cars, but I must admit Tokyo-Marui really made great buggies in the 80's like this one.
Congratulations on scoring such a great piece of RC history!

Amazing how other brands copy the Tamiya's box art and colours. In the biography from Mr Tamiya he explained that he was the only brand who chose white back ground because this colour is very sensitive to sun light. This could be a problem when cars were in the shop for too long. After the succes of Tamiya's a lot of concurrents also chose the white colour. This box art is soo close to Tamiya that the only difference is the logo on the box. This is really a beauty and colours are great.Inner packadging was poor compare to our favorite brand but once build it's a stunner.Nice catch.
