| description | Just before Christmas, 2 Slashes appeared in the Trades section. This one (Twisty's) and Stickerbod's. Firstly, I had to justify to myself spending that sort of money, on truck to bash to it's limits and beyond. Secondly, I couldn't make up my mind as to which one to go for. Andy's was in very good nick but, twisty's would be more of a challenge to bring it up to lightly used and clean-ish looking . Well whilst I was debating it, Andy's was gone from the trade room. This is the result. Replaced one or two worn/damaged parts. Stripped and cleaned it. That took a few days just cleaning it. Rebuilt every part. Inclucding: dithcing rusty ball races and re-packing good ones. Fair play to Simon for the amount of stuff that came with it. Manuals, spare parts, body clips, the tools that came with it when it was new. I also have to thank him for his patience, for bending his ear on the brushless setup. This was my first brushless model. I now have a new addiction to feed.. I'd rather have a Slash than a Wii any day.
