Mudflaps and Pipes
Hi all, I have been playing around with mud flaps, I did have them on the rear valance but when I saw some real pics they were in the wrong place, they kind of go further in with the top of the flap just sticking out from the wheel arch, so made some blocks up and moved them to where I think they should be, what do you think? Now the exhaust pipes, turned these up but they are too bling, Metro had just sawn off pipe which curved down, so will change them. Got the chaps in the car still got a bit of painting to do, I have also made some alloy brackets to pull the body in at the rear, I just put a curve on the alloy bracket and double sided taped it in, this puts a little bit of a curve on the shell and makes the rear wheels fit a treat, body still got cracks in it here and there, ControlFreax said they will send me another body but still cant guarantee it will be ok, but guess they are being honest, just wonder how it will stand up to a bit of a biff :-) ah, also got some narrow front wheels so they will turn, and have some wide rear and front tires are coming from Tony.
