| description | Had a great suprise when this arrived today, was expecting a slip or email with Customs charge first but it seems this one slipped through!! I now see why Stella are so highly thought of as it arrived so well packaged I will be using them again. I still would rather use a UK model store like Apex Models who are excellent but proberly would'nt of brought this for the UK RRP! Like other TC members the Avante was nothing more then a childhood dream and am so pleased to own this re-release. It will be built but not run, I'd be quite keen to have some tips on building this purely for show, should everything be greased and filled with oil or leave everything without? will definetly take my time and enjoy this build.

Yep, Stella are top dogs no doubt about it. Lucky you avoiding the duty too. Enjoy.
Think the general rule is grease metal parts lightly, no oil in shocks and put on a stand so tyres are barely touching the ground (no flat spots on tyres then). Will be getting a few of these myself when the prices drop a little lol. cheers
They're a awesome car mate, you'll have a blast building it. my only tip is read the instructions carefully including the footnotes. have fun
It's personal choice of course but i fill the shocks with oil but i leave the gear boxes/hubs/other moving parts etc dry, no grease.
