description  I wanted one of these back in the day, something about the 10th scale size that made these look so much better than the regular toy grade cars I was used to at the time. I like the styling of these and will look good next to my Bigwig. A friends older bother had one of these and a Boomerang sometime around 1987 and it started something, soon afterwards I had the little flyer with descriptions of many of the Tamiya models, I read and re-read it numerous times!

Nice find James. I seem to remember a TV ad that aired here in New Zealand back in the late 80's. It featured a couple of cars..... one was the Nikko Venus and I think the other was the Nikko Dictator??? Do you remember it?

Nice one! I had a similar story to you James, my brother's mate had one when I had my boomer, kept asking him to bring it out for a race when I was a kid Bet it brings back the memories! Nikko was probably the most popular toy grade car here in NZ
