description  I have always wanted a CC-01 chassis and couldn't have been happier when I placed 2nd in a Tamiya USA comp. Thanks to Wyoming (who placed 1st of course) I won a Toyota CC-01.

I knew exactly what I wanted to make this into and after a trip to HK managed to pick up a Bronco bodyset for about $24 USD.

The inspiration is the original Parnelli Jones Baja Bronco. I won't be making an exact replica but more of an inspired by.

Vintage 5 slot alloys come from RC4WD as do wheel hubs.

I now have 2 repro driver figures and have fitted a Proline Bronco interior. This had to be cut from the original bodyset. It fits well and was worth the extra $$'s to save me having to build one from scratch AND the repro hilux figures seem to fit in perfectly - Thanks PROLINE.

This is the progress so far, comments welcome.

Loving it! I can see a few people copying this idea for a Blazing Blazer-style beater! Nice work.

very cool project and that Tamiya shell is so much more proportional than the Proline it makes a perfect blend.
