Since watching the legendary movie 'Le Mans' with Steve Mc Queen I became a big fan of 70s motorsports. I love the style and atmosphere of racing back then. Very iconic and heroic!
The Porsche 936 was a racing car introduced in 1976 by Porsche as a delayed successor to the Porsche 908. It was built to compete in the World Sportscar Championship as well as at 1976 24 Hours of Le Mans under the Group 6 formula. With Jacky Ickx at the wheel the Porsche 936 won the 24 Hours of le Mans 3 times ('76, '77, '81).

Beautiful Porsche, nice kit to have ... the 70's is my favourite era ... the last hurrah of mechanical grunt and driver expertise, before the techno boffins took over! ... ...
