| description | Yet another Ebay bargain find. It was advertised as never run and its condition certainly shows it has never seen any running. However it came with a thick layer of brown dust which was sticky in places. Looks as though it kept company with someone with a 100 a day habit. Did'nt bother me that much as I'm a smoker myself but it took quite a bit of effort to clean. But on the upside, it only cost £45!. Came with its box, manual and some spares too.
I added the CRP bumper and some lovely gold rims with You-G tyres that I had laying around. It may look red in the photos but this thing is seriously pink! I think I may have to get a new shell and go with a vintage looking design.

Thanks for the comments so far everyone. I personally think the CRP bumper looks great, certainly prefer it over the kit one as I've always thought they look a bit wrong but each to their own I suppose. I'm hoping to get some more period hop-ups for this, want to go for the old school racer look although this will probably never see the track. I've got a rough looking one for running duties and I agree with hot rod, they are seriously good fun.
Very good buy and since building my own runner frog from various sources i could not be happier.....they are seriously good fun and with a slightly more powerful motor are very lively on the steering!!! mine too has the same bumper and agree its not pretty but sure being a one piece design fitting into the chassis itself makes it stronger so mine is staying on. Nice one buddy
