| description | There seems to be a error with the model name on tc. Its not a beetle its a porsche cayenne.
Anyway I got this for my son from my local Modelzone for £100 rtr which I think was a bargain. He seemed to like it as well before some theiving toe rag stolen it from my shed along with a few other of my models.
Anyway I am going to get him a new one this weekend.
I managed to get a few pics of it before it was stolen.

Sad that you had cars stolen. We had the kids new BMX bikes (birthday presents) stolen out of the yard a few months ago too. For the price of the wireless security systems ex-china it might be worth fitting a camera or two. The Cayenne kit and XB should be a DF01 (4x4) chassis, not CC01 or TA02.
I lost 6 cars on total a slash tto1 ff03 df03 this one and a buggy. As soon as the insurance pays up I will be re ordering the lot. What peed me off the most was the actual time and effort that went into them and the invasion of my property. I am not keeping as much in the shed anymore and I have doubled the locks and added a alarm.
Sad story, but this car looks good, how many cars are you missing from that steal!! hope you can find them back, you´l never no.

Thanks guys but the truth is I didn't tell him. I couldn't bring my self to let him know that low life scum had broken into the shed. I don't want him being frightened. I will just replace it and hope he doesn't notice that them lovely scratches he put on the bodyshell have disappeared lol. Thanks again guys.

Sorry to hear of the theft. My dad once said to me: 'You can't have anything nice in this world without some sort of flak.' That was after my 3rd custom BMX was stolen. He did add to that though: 'Be grateful that your in the fortunate position where you don't have to, or feel the need, to steel. Maybe the thief's life isn't as good as yours.' He had a point but it still hurt though. Imagine the joy on your sons face when you turn up with a brand new one though. Lovely car and I couldn't resist at that price either.

Sorry to hear about the theiving scum. I have so nearly bought one of these on several occasions, but always walked away! I think this is on the TA-02 chassis rather than the CC-01 from the kit, but I may still buy one anyway.
I only went into modelzone for a look and for this price tag I could not resist. I needed a new 7.2 v battery anyway and this came with a 2400 mah so it was a win win situation. I am picking up his new cayenne this weekend to replace this one that was stolen.
