| description | As there are 2 Hotshots on the TC homepage, I thought I'd re-add mine with updated photos. This is new built and completely vintage except for the wheels which are from loaded. It was an absolute delight to get the chance to build such a legend, so many years on . I really do think the box art red body and gold wheels look amazing on this total legend of an RC. A true true Icon. Thanks all, J

Great shots John! (Hot Shots!! HaHaHa; see what I did there???) Any chance of a tutorial on how you take such amazing photos???
Have always had a eye for the Hot-Shot just never got one
Amazing!! Everything looks perfect.. Nice pictures, cant have enough of them hotshots. Id love to finish my hotshot army. Maybe 10 winters later.
Agreed John, a total legend and a definitive icon in Tamiya's history. Stunning from every angle and the Gold wheels just complete the look. Absolutely superb.
Top stuff matey, thanks.
mad-bee, thanks for 101ing but my Ranger had 732 views and never made it onto there so you'll have to drool at this on here or on Iconic
matman is right!!
Why can i hear dripping 'Oh' that's MAD BEE drooling
Stunning as always mate. Added to my favourites. Never had the pleasure of working on a Hot Shot yet, but I think I might just have to start looking for one.
Awesome Hotshot!!! Superb work as always.
Thats a beautiful car you`ve got there., you`ve done a fantastic job, looks like it stepped right off from the box art.
A real beauty. I am daily in my hobby room and whenever I am there, I have a look over all my vintage cars and I love them all. But still, the Hotshot with the golden wheel is simply outstanding.
looks gorgeous, that looks like it could have been straight from the tamiya catalogue . Thanks for the comment on my own re-re john and am now starting work on my vintage hot-shot that arrived today... pleased to say its in really good condition. Hope to get it gleaming like this but doubt it ever will look this good.. regards hot rod
Scorcher night last night! so why not have a Hotshot night tonight!!!
Excellant, I have a new box kit that I cant wait to build and i've also been lucky to get the gold wheels for it also. Promised myself I cant build another till i've sold some though
You are right, red & gold that is the best suit for the hotshot
What a beauty!
Perfect!
That is one sexy beast
Wow, what a very clean, mean gold plated wheeled machine
