| description | This Bigwig arrived today all the way from the USA. From the pictures the seller showed me I couldn't really tell much about its condition other than it was dirty and some parts missing. As it goes it really is in rather decent condition considering its age. I'm amazed it arrived in one piece as it was only packed in some newspaper and the car was taped to the bottom of the box, the aerial was poking through the top of the box lol... I see it needs one exhaust, the top chassis part and driver. The body isn't the best, but would be perfect for a runner. I'm not sure if I will keep and restore this now as I don't have the money to throw into it really. The biggest expense of course would be a new body set

Great car! Looks in pretty decent shape -a lil work will make it look awesome. I love these buggies. We have some info, real cars, and many pictures in our 'Big Wig owners & enthusiasts' SIG. You're invited.
Put it away until you have the funds
Looks in some sort of good shape . I'm sure Tamiya won't bring this out , so why not keep it , you can get a repo body .
Yes Mike, it does have the rack and pinion set up which although not very efficient, is one of the things that attracts me to this model.
hold on to it a great car once you get its sorted cost is the main prob with them. Better nick than the one i got hold of . TBG do a good copy for not to much money compared to original
It could be worse, it might have been another bullhead
lol @ ukzz4iroc, I don't sell everything straight away hahaha, I have been after a Bigwig for ages, just worried about the cost of restoration
I would hold on to it mate. I think this could be one of the models that is never re-released, and even if Tamiya do release it again, it may not be on the correct chassis. It looks like a solid base for a restoration. You could just store it for the moment, and only buy parts when you a feeling a bit too rich
All of the above is irrelevant anyway, how much is for sale at?
