| description | ok guys this is very very weird and funny story...first thing i hate tag sales and state sales..because they are boring and you can find nuthing but junk there...last week my wife woke me up 7.30am on sunday..it was very frustrating situation..because the sale was 35 mintes away..well i managed my self somehow and took a 35 minutes ride almost dozing off at every other light..once we got here there were couple of older people there looking around..i stayed in the car while my wife started doing her junk shopping..she came back after 45 minutes and knocked on window i was knocked out snoring..she said fred i seen couple of old rc cars there..and i woke up immediately and went in there to see them..when i seen them they were two very very old broken rc10s there..good for nuthing..so just when i was about to leave i seen this box under on of tabes in really bad shape..i pulled it out there it was super champ...my heart stared beating very fast..i looked inside the box and it was a complete kit and in excellent beautiful condition..now i went to the old man carrying the box but when i was about to start talking to hi..he shut me up and said sir i wont sell that car less than $60 ..my head just spun and i was speechless...he sensed maybe i was not interested and said ok final $40..if you want it take or just leave it where i got it from..as this was going on i seen a car stp and couple of younger guys coming out to see tag sale..i immediately said yes and paid him money and almost trying to cover the kit so they cannot see left towards my car...they seen it anyway and asked if i bought that here...i tried to lie but i couldnt and said yes and than almost ran towards my car so i can just start and leave...my wife said are you ok whats wrong with you..well as soon as she started the car..i heard yold man yelling towards our car..i told my wife just drive..please just drive...she said no and stopped the car..than i saw the old man carrying a book..he told me that i have left the manual and decals of the car by mistake and it wil be hard for me to finish the car without them..i was releaved and when i we got home i cleaned the box and kept on looking at kit for like couple of hours...lolz...one lesson i mearned..sometimes you can find rare things in these tag sales

Cramer trust me that was the crazy situation...I felt like a criminal who just robbed a bank trying to get away from cops...but god damn I realized later on it was just a toy rc car..lolz...crazy situation man
Awesome find, I laughed hard as you were trying to get out before the old guy started to cuss you out for buying so cheap, he saved you at least $100 chasing you. I think you owe the wife a steak and egg breakfast for that early day,and train her better to find Tamiya R/C instead of junk, just like Tamiyamandan's girlfriend.

Racecrafters...haha..you were close enough.....he was dressed in red..but no beard...not Santa claus..and I am pretty sure people get good deals...I can give you a hint..anytime you buy on eBay..always check..if the regularly sells rc or he just got his hands on one from somewhere...most likely you will get a good deal..trust me happened to me couple of times
