Here is my semi broken in TRF801x. I still have to paint the shell, not sure what scheme to go for yet.
This was another hugely enjoyable build. All the parts are of the highest quality and this thing is a monster!
I've just started breaking in the motor,l fired up 1st time, and look forward to running this in the spring. When this thing is running I just cannot believe how loud it is!!! I love it!
Sure, it’s messy, complicated, fiddly, will probably be a pain in the backside to keep tuned etc etc... but end of the day it’s a beautiful Tamiya TRF model that I'm happy to have in my collection!

I love this car, Could be Tamiya's best.
Nice and Rare buggy i just boken in the new engine on mine and i'm ready for the nitro racing season. Not much of them here on TC is the second one i see after mine.... Have fun! Bye WWD
Very nice, I used to race Inferno's locally about 15 years ago... Loved the smell, noise and fun. You're right Nitro can be a bit of a pain.. But when its running well they are SOOOO much fun
Looks like a fun machine. I just sold my Nitrage after about a year of fun with it
not sure what engine you've got there, but a quality modern .21 nitro engine is a lot less fiddly than the old days. My Ninja engines (Mugen owned, OS made) barely need any tuning at all once set. Just use quality fuel and always run the engine dry, then use some good afterun oil and you cant go wrong
Cool man love the 801x.Every time i see one and want one i have to remind myself why i don't do nitro anymore. It's just so pretty though...Have Fun
Oh, and it's nice that we can see you in the 4th and 5th photo. Unintentional I'm sure, but it's a mirror image of a lot of us dudes taking pictures of our cars/trucks. Pretty cool.
That's awesome. I still have some nitro cars but haven't run them in years. The best part about nitro cars is the smell of burning fuel! I loved that! Looks like you did a real nice job building this one. Should be a lot of fun to blast around!
