| description | Hey fellas,
ever since the Avante was first released and I drooled over the exploded view in the guidebook, I knew I wanted one. I was thrilled when I heard the news about the re-release, but never got to order one as there were always more important things to buy. When I finally had the money, I thought it would be nicer to get the original version. Then this one came up in the TC trades. I initially jumped on it. It's mostly original, only the tyres, the rear wing and some decals are re-re parts. Luckily, all the sponsor decals were there. The body got a new lick of paint and a good polish on the outside. New original (soft) rear springs were needed, as the original ones were cut. The driver figure came unpainted, so I did my best to match it to the cars standard. The helmet decals went on like a charm with the careful use of a heat gun. No wrinkles whatsoever!
I'm really glad and proud to finally have this gem in my collection!

Dante i have got the rear shocks now, mint nip too so i am elated. Think i have sourced the metal parts bag now as well so i am done and dusted

I've seen your wanted ads for the rear shock bodies and screw bag. My rear shocks are blemished too, but they seem really rare.
If your using original decals, be very careful with the heat gun! Mine were re-re decals and it worked great.
This is a beautiful buggy and a must have. I am in the process of collecting all the parts to build myself one, it has taken me absolutely ages but seeing another member's Avante on here just compels me even more to find these last few pieces. Will also bear in mind your heat gun advice for the helmet sticker
