| description | I recently picked this up after looking for one for a while. Now its here I am not too sure if I like it or not This example is in really good condition and looks like its hardly been used. The only let down in the body as its been painted badly on the outside The paint is thin though so it may strip off easily. Can anyone suggest the safest way to strip it without wrecking the shell?

not sure why but I really love the look of the old TD , nice find.
Buy some Autosmart Tardis from eBay - its a car cleaning (tar remover) solvent but its worked for me every time. Thinly applied brush paint should come off with readily - just put soem on a soft microfibre cloth and rub away at the paint. On my Egress shell i actually had good success on some of it with just warm soapy water, think it was partly painted with poster paints.
I like this car, if ya remove the paint anit it comes out ok sell it to me if ya dont want it
Luke best way is to put it in the plastic recycling bin and buy mine!
Hi Luke, I had great success with a product called De-solvit Graffiti remover (polycarb safe). I left it to soak a while and the paint gradually started to peel. Afterwards it came off easiely and looked like new! Love the Thunder Dragon myself! I think they look great in black (take a look at mine).
you could try turps, ive had some decent results with some silvers
That's an easy solution, sell it to someone else to do
