| description | After a break on my Toyota project FJ4... i coudnt stop to start with this... A Citroen 2CV 4WD Scale truck. That car was so populair when it came out and i think it was the second car next to the beetle to enjoy. Its a real classic car now, and for some people a collectors item!!
How i came with this build, a few mounth´s ago i was to a local fleamarket and saw that body. It was brand new but the guy hat no decals with it! I ask him how much for the body and he say´s joure the man for just 5 euro! I pay the 5 euro and i got that body, i walkt away from that guy, thinking when i woudt happy just with a nakid body! When i was home i did take a look on what kind of chassis it woudt fit the best. I got a Isuzu Mu chassis lying around and it woudt look great, i´m a big fan of those chassis.
I foundt some decals on the net but for double the prize as the body.......!!! But i just need them! So i coudt start the build. I modifided the body a bit for a expedition look, cut some Hummer wheels in half for a scale look (just like the real car) Found some small tires, they are truck tires called *Carson Fulda Crossforce* they are just like the BFG´S as from the Mit Pajero. They woudt look so good on my 2CV. lots of home made work i did from styrene as the roofrack, snorkel, rearguard, exhaust, mirrors, ext ext. The only thing to do is made a interior, but i coudnt wait to show it now, cause it looks finished from the outside!
I wanne say, some of you woudt love or hate this kind of truck, but i like it, its a real classic.
El Citro is getting Expedition, thank you for watching enjoy.

Thank you Dirt-540 this is one of my funniest scale car ever, i really enjoyed it.
All the things I wrote for Skottoman's CV2 have to go for yours too, very funky, cool and original!
Thank you for your inspiration. My 2CV is complete.
Amezing work Scott, very good work so far. Love the color and your tires, nice detailed work on the grill and bumper. Just one little tip for the body mount on the chassis! For a car like this you have to go for a velcro mount, better then those ugly body posts through the bonnet and roof. Good luck with the rest of the build but that woudt not be a problem!
Inspired by your build, I'm having a go at one myself now. Thank you for the information on the body, and the tip on the wheels! Here is a link to my build - [Click here]
Spectacular! - in concept and execution!
...a twin-engined 4WD Citroen - GREAT !
How did I miss this one? Such an original idea and fantastic execution!
I agree with every one very cool and unique build, Nice work!!
yeah, thanks Kees this is my funniest favorit truck at the moment. i woudt love to run it, but i will do first the interior work, cause others it goos over and i go further with another project. Woudt be great fun to run it outside myself.
YOU ARE A GENIUS! This is one of the nicest and funniest cars on TC
Wow... never expected so much comments, many many thanks again great fellers.
This car deserved to be among my favorites. What a original and perfect job. The world needs more first class clasic modelers like you sir!

def4x4, What an awesome project and all the details sure make for a unique car! I would love to see it outside in realistic environment. Very well done!
Awesome! I'm not a fan of the 2CV, but this is fantastic! Added to my favourites!
Wow! Stunning work! I agree with Wyoming--would look great running outdoors.
Wonderful, just wonderful! It's so cool that I can't stop looking at the details. Really nice job! Going straight to my favorites!

This is...speechless...FANTASTIC! Straight into my favs!
Thank you again great guys @ mongoose yeah it looks better then stock, wish a TCmember has a 1:1 car. @ Crash Cramer meby it looks smaller on the pics but it is a real 1:10 scale model, fits perfect on the XC chassis i mounted on. Lots of work on the interior to do, if i´m done i show you more.
That is very cool, at first site, I thought this was some sort of smaller die cast model, NOT a scale R/C. Very superb work so far, can't wait to see what you do for the interior.
Looks excellent. What a great custom Citroen! I love it. My parents used to have one of these back in the 70's. Your work is awesome!!!!!!!!!
lol, that is so cool, be fun to see it outside when you get it all done
Awesome job!! Love it, great details!
This car is amazing, my favourite model on TC
I love it! Great details! Great colour! I drove one of those in the early 80`s when I was in Italy. One of my favourites together with the Renault 4
@ Skottoman i woudt build it like the real thing, just with the 3 wheel nuts what the real car has and those small tires too, glad that you like it. @Mad Bee thanks but i´m not finished jet, working on a interior too, with some more details!
@Eleck Rider when i got this body i coudnt stop starting this build, yea i love it builds like this, youve seen them not every day.
Thats wicked!! Love the detail bud!
Amazing what you have done with this! Down to the 3 wheel nuts! I love the old 2CV ever since I got picked up hitchiking through France in 1988! Such great memories, and absolutely amazed to see what a fine job you've done of this! Wow!
I love this! So much character! Looks like you enjoyed building this. Great details.
Thank you all guys, this is a grazy cool car next to my Mad Max beetle. Meby more unique cause i have never seen one here before, if someone of you have seen another please let me now! I forgot to say its painted on the inside and give it a bit of a used look.
Inspired build, fantastic! I love seeing unique builds like this, great work.
One of the most original cars I have seen on TC, superidee zo'n ''lelijke eend''.
Only one word - Superb !
Very cool, and a great job you've done there. Makes me wish I still had my first cars, a 2CV and Dyane at the same time. They were soooo much fun, and mega cheap to run too. Keep up the good work.
