Dude, because of your out of retirement Hornet pics, you've inspired me to upload some pre-restoration pics of my family's family legacy! Come see the nasty-beaten-up-Grasshopper that went thru hell and back for the last 20years!
Thanks OrangeSport & Kyosho collector
Very cool photos! Hornet was my first buggy, in 1985, now I have 4 (plus 3 grasshoppers). Definitely a favorite!
Ha ha, taken a leaf out of my book with those tyres mate!
Nice one (sunnyjai) mate!!
Out of retirement = Anytime Baby! Ripped out tires? = Anytime Baby! Jumps and airborne flying = Anytime Baby! Suicide runs = Anytime Baby! Terrorise stray cats and dogs = Anytime Baby! 15T Modified Motor = Erm Anytime Baby! Lols I can't wait to get my Hopper out too! Fun? = Anytime Baby!
Shots 2, 3 & 4 are Smoking! Heaps of understeer in 3! Looks like you had yourself some wicked fun MAD-BEE!
cheers Assi74 mate and hope you like the wing! its a home made special
Cool, great pictures! Hornet in action with more compacting pressure on the rear wing, well done!
In its day Micheal the Hornet was the main rival to the Frog at our club and the fastest thing down the straight....but not so hot in the corners!! and over rough terrain it did test your driving skills to the max!!
Very cool.. These may not be competitive in any way, but their fun factor is hard to beat.
Thanks Tamiyamandan it was fun mate!! a real blast!!
WOW...Looks like GREAT fun !!!
Justin in the end of the dust up the tyres had more holes in them than a collinder!!
Fantastic BEE, and they are a legend
think them tyres are well and truly dead!!! can't say i have ever seen a pair so worn before but at least they lived out their final moments on a icon. Good pictures again james and do you ever get cloud there lol.
This old girl is quick sof101 mate and with the Legendary dodgy suspension its one crazy buggy!!
17 turn motor with a live axle go on you mad man lol bet that flies great shots again mate definitely ripping it up !!
Go on (sony-sonic)buddy get that Hornet up and running!!!
Just when you think maybe the ol' girl could be put to pasture, it's time for round 2! My tyres arent far off yours, but to be honest I like the hornet with a little less traction! GO BABY GO!!!
INSTANT CLASSIC.
Sweet! Mines coming off the shelf this weekend for a good rag around!!
