Dude, because of your out of retirement Hornet pics, you've inspired me to upload some pre-restoration pics of my family's family legacy! Come see the nasty-beaten-up-Grasshopper that went thru hell and back for the last 20years!

Very cool photos! Hornet was my first buggy, in 1985, now I have 4 (plus 3 grasshoppers). Definitely a favorite!

In its day Micheal the Hornet was the main rival to the Frog at our club and the fastest thing down the straight....but not so hot in the corners!! and over rough terrain it did test your driving skills to the max!! But!! you are spot on mate this buggy is a hoot to drive and extremely reliable and durable compared to some!! My Hornet will be hitting the beach next..but a set of new rears is called for before that i think!! Cheers buddy.

Just when you think maybe the ol' girl could be put to pasture, it's time for round 2! My tyres arent far off yours, but to be honest I like the hornet with a little less traction! GO BABY GO!!!
