description  A mate of mine picked this up relatively cheap for us to run, we ran it other day on the stock 380 motor and tiny prop and propshaft and it was ok but not good enough. So spent early part of this afternoon fitting the running gear from an old club 500 that was damaged, didnt take much work to get the propshaft and 540 motor in.

Once the glue was dry we took it to a nearby lake (Widnas, Victoria Park) for a test run. We used a small 2200mah 2s lipo and off it went... Quickly. At full speed it tends to bounce and a little unstable anything less and it was fine, I have a video which will upload shortly.

On return to the house fitted a pair of trim tabs and some strakes underneath which the real trent class lifeboat has in a hope it will add stability, this will be tested in a few days.

Nice jumping boat seems like a lot of fun and a handful to steer

Looks like great fun, makes me wish my local lake wasn't grown over with Algae at the moment

great pics. We have 2 of these boats and one has rusted solid prop shafts. I think I see a little project for the future. Thanks for the ideas !
