Fantastic, really love seeing these original Super Shots! One of my all time favorites!
Great score...please join my SS SIG and add this fine example to the group. Thanks.
Thanks Guys, The screw length is probably a mistake in the manual. Although Tamiya photos show the long screws as well, maybe there was some sort of thought process behind it. The Delta radio I believe is an Acoms for the German market. The radio is made in Japan and distributed in Germany, also the model number is AP 227. I’ll add a couple of detailed photos. Dose anyone know the history around the Delta?
She is a picture!!! Awesome!!!!!!
Lots of re-re's on here at the moment - very nice to see an original.... and of course with the correct motor. Well done
Absolutely Fabulous !!
Chris is a really great guy, he has helped me on numourous occations. Looks absolutely perfect!
Super nice!
Yes i know the manual says for them to be this size but when you consider both the Hotshot I and II have the correct length screws (those that sit flush) makes you wonder why they changed it for the Supershot??
Looking good Chris, that radio looks a LOT like an Acoms, is it a clone?? I really had to look for those screws that Paul was picking on you about, but I have just woke up for the day.
Hi Paul, I know those screws look funny. I checked the manual 3 times to be sure. But to me it all part of the character of the model.
Chris your pictures are always superb and these have your Supershot looking sweeeeeeeeeeeeet! Mate you need to ignore the manual though and change those two screws holding the bumper onto the bumper guard to shorter ones. They don't look good protruding like that
Awsome!
