| description | Took my TT01R type E Datsun Rally out for a spin and took some action pics. This is my favorite Rally body Tamiya Has done to date, I like the red livery and the Short wheelbase. Anyway of the 100 or so pics I took while driving in the horse corral today I picked 10 that came out good to share. Thanks for looking.

Excellent action shots of one of my favorite rally cars! Fantastic job once again Seth.
Horse track fun it looks like lol! Great fun and action pics as always, Its pretty rare but a few days ago i saw a real one on the highway here.
Great pics mate. Well done. On road use only? Guess you proved that wrong .
The suface certainly make for great pictures and does look rather fun to drive on Seth! Love this model!! Very good buddy you take awesome pics too!
Your photos make it look like the 1:1 especially #4. I was so pleased when I saw that Tamiya had released the Datsun 240 Rally version. Long admired your workmanship, I always look forward to your next model.
pretty much...but they mostly eat grass so it makes a nice dirt mixture that is high grip and soft, but it stinks when it rains even after no horses on it for a year so i don't tend to drive in this spot when its wet
Are you saying you are driving this beauty in horse s..t ??? Still great shots!!
Nice!
Wow, stunning shots! Many thanks for sharing them with us!
Fanbloodytastic. Looks real.
glad you guys like the pictures...this environment is really after all where the horses went to the bathroom although it has been empty for a year or so but a lot of that dust is dried horse manure
Exceptional pictures - I thought this was going to be 'Real Car/Reference'! Love it.
Seth you must be very pleased with these shots!! Awesome realism!!
wow, so beautifull. An old skool rally car in a great environment, it doesnt get better, does it?
WOW - My favourite Classic 1:1 car. Love the pics
One of my favourites cars too ... this is exceptional ...
I had a rear drive rally car many years ago where I used a TA02 and removed all the drive gear from front case , plugged the driveshaft hole and it worked great but an M03 or ff02 could work great if flipped mmm
AWESOME SETH......JUST AWESOME !!
Superb!!!super picrures and super place to let the beast out
hmmm... I'm thinking RWD conversion on a M-03 chassis with this bodyshell sounds like a good idea at the mo! Excellent work on the pics and car!
Awesome...I LOVE the 240z...Your detail is superb with the drivers and the wheels..great work! I agree, I like that first pic..looks totally real.I have the rally version. I'd say next to the 935..this is my favorite style body and look..seriously... I like that much...classic. I'm in the middle of building the 1/12 model kit with race team...
Fabulous pics Seth ! you make me wanted one of these too
Blimey, exceptional photos of the very best looking (IMO) Tamiya Rally car.
One of Tamiya's best looking cars, great build and yet again, pictures to be jealous of.
Super photography, and loving the drilled hummer wheels!
Thanks guys, still have the Vajra Chris just not the body or wheels, its one of my custom projects
Great photos, especially the first one. Since you went for a TT01R Type E instead of a DF03Ra, did you cut the bumper mounts to let the suspension arms droop more? Cutting the mounts, moving the dampers to the outer holes, and using softer springs will help quite a bit with ground clearance...
Awesome shots as usual, you can make just about any Tamiya look great. IT is a shame you didn't keep that Vajera or whatever its name was so you could have painted it up and taken some great shots of it and Tamiya would have to both pay you and thank you for making more of the trucks sell due to your awesome PR skills.
Seth you have the perfect location, all that loose dirt and sand. Superb action pictures
Such a cool car, and outstanding action photos!
Great pics!!! Really nice rally car as well nice job..... lol shouldn't you be working on that bruiser!! We all here at Tamiya club want to see it done lol....Nice work as always..
stunning pictures Seth!
Perfect pictures!
