description  Here are a few photos of my latest runner project. I know there are many who have decided to not build one of these. All I can say is this is the first collectable kit I've ever built, and not felt guilty for doing it. This car is incredible! It came pretty much loaded from Tamiya, but I have made a few changes. First thing that had to go was those skinny little girlie-man touring tires. Upgraded with the widest Kawada's I could fit. That gave the car the proper Turbo RSR look from the rear. Next was front and rear sway bars, Center one way gears, Tamiya lights, and 3 Racing brake discs. For motivation I installed a Mamba Max ESC, Novak 3.5R Sensored Brushless motor, 8.4v 2s Lipo hardcase battery, and a Futaba 2.4 Ghz 3ch radio. Runs like a scalded dog! With the one-way, off power kicks out the rear just like a real 934. Hit the power and it puts the car back on rails. Will smoke my F201 in the curves and for straight line speed. All I can say is no regrets on building and running this gem.

k2cos, The only place I know of that has these Kawada Wide mesh wheels is Banzai hobbies out of Japan. The rears have the max width and offset to fit the RSR bodies (TA03 and Anniversary bodies). I use Tamiya Wide Slicks on them and they work well. for the fronts use Kawada Narrow Medium Mesh wheels with the +2 Offset. Keep in mind that Kawada molds 4 reinforcment ribs inside the rims that will need to be cut off for clearance, but once done cannot be seen and does not effect the strenth of the rims. I use the same rim/tire combo on my PIAA TA03 Porsche and TA03 Porsche 911 GT1. They not only look 'right', but are the best thing available for getting high powered brushless to hook up. Here is the link to Banzai; [Click here] Good Luck.....

Thanks for the comments guys. This is one of those cars that runs better than it looks. Sad they are so pricey and look so good in the blisters. Keeps most of these great cars NIB. The flip side is if you want a new kit, they are plentiful. Tamiya can build some world class stuff that not only looks good in the package, but performs also.
