| description | I'm not sure why this took so long to do, I got this right after it came out started on it and then got sidetracked but since it has to be my favorite looking Tamiya Buggy along with the Wild One I just had to work to get it all built this week so I can play with it this weekend, I did not go to fancy. I just built it up stock with a simple flat tan paint job and some basic weathering and washes. I used an old dry rotted Rough Rider wheel for the spare and a broken Hummer antenna for the scale-ish looking antenna since all I had was an old reliable 75mhz Futaba Magnum Sport radio. The roof rack is from a Duratrax beetle thing and it very inexpensive and looks pretty good on here I think for about $6 not much left to do really just add some roof details and maybe some scale jacks, ammo cans, tents and such but it is ready to go now if I don't get to the details right away Power is from an HPI 35T can motor with decal removed and the slowest pinion...its still faster than I like so I may go with a 55t like I do in my SRBs which makes them look pretty scale when driving and much easier to photograph

looks absolutly superb. love the color and the weathering.looking forward to see some actionshots..
Love to see this in great action, fantastic looking buggy, that FAV.
Amazing!!! Great job and pics
As ALWAYS Seth.....Another Kick Ass looking Vehicle !!!!!
Great job Seth! Tamiya made a great model in the fav its timeless in my view!!
I have thought about painting it but I might just let it get all dusty and oily like a few of my other 'weathered' cars where I use it as an excuse to not clean them because they look better all dirty. My orange Hilux motor was so covered in greasy dirt that I had forgotten what it was until I sprayed it off during an overhaul
Looks awesome, and your weathering is perfect. I like the extra details also of the roof rack. I would suggest you paint your motor as well. I did on my Willy's FAV Scorcher, as well as the wires, and everything so it blends in as much as possible. Maybe do that when you switch motors... Great buggy though for sure!
Thanks guys, I'm looking forward to driving this one outside
Outstanding work mate!!
Better late than never! Lookin good with that wonderful detailing, cool roof rack and the 'bearded' driver look...
Very nice! I like the sober look on it and the roofrack fits in. Just waiting for some nice weather in Wyoming so we'll get some outside pics
Looks really good! I do love dirty looking FAVs!
Nice work!! You dont want to turn away when driving that in the dessert, i wount find it when you turn back again.
Looks great Seth! Makes me want to get mine out and buiild it, but I hav way too many unfinished projects as it is
Amazing work Seth! Great use of the Duratrax Baja Bug roof rack.
TERRRIFIC job, Seth. Awesome light attack vehicle indeed. I'm curious about the front arms. Don't they belong to the Wild One buggy?
