description  Hear hear! It must have been 1985. I was twelve and a rather happy child with great parents. They didn't spoil me: when you wanted something, you couldn't always have it. For some time I had discovered Tamiya RC through their FABULOUS catalogues. And the Grasshopper... I literally dreamed of it. Damn that box art drawing! Just before Christmas, I discovered two giant boxes under the Christmas tree. 'That MUST BE a Grasshopper and a transmitter', I figured. On Christmas Eve, short before dinner I was allowed to open the boxes. My Heart rejoiced: FINALLY! Guess how I felt when I discovered two gourmet sets (I guess more commonly known as 'wok party sets')? My parents bought those to use them for the first time that Christmas Eve, because as kids we liked that kind of fun food. That wasn't my Christmas present of course, my parents only thought that sort of family present deserved its place under our tree. Great idea? Duh! Anyone believe I enjoyed it that night? Fortunately.... some months later my parents surprised me on a Saturday evening with an unannounced visit to my LHS. I got a Fox and was the happiest kid in the world... for years to come! The Grasshopper? Still the coolest looking RC car EVER!!!
