| description | Don (Bluefoot), Kel (Kalsh), Neil (Berman), Chris (not a TC member), plus Don sons and Kel's son Zac & I got together yesterday for a bit of a chat, and to run some R/C's about. The track was pretty mucky due to the recent weather (frost/rain etc.) so most of what we did run was on the gravel carpark at the track. Hopefully the other guys got more pics than me, as I didn't get much at all. This is about the best of 'em

Very nice track, great cars, specially the little Pejero...
Excellent days work! Good to catch up with everyone again and a shame a couple of the guys couldn't make it. This has inspired me to get my one and only nitro running (a TNX). And even thought I had real trouble keeping that Baja pointing where I wanted it to go, I might just have to sell a chunk of my collection and get one.
Looks a lot of fun!! and the last two pics are great of your pajero! its great to see one on the track again! Such cool looking little things are the Pajero's!!
I had such a great time, it was great to catch up with you all again and just cant wait until the next one! Mike, i think the baja is at the mercy of Don's hands in that pic
Great winters day - a 3 degree frost followed by some great sunshine. We ran all sorts of buggys mainly Tamiya but Neils HPI 5B baja was insane!!! and he let us drive it - no brakes as the alloy disk had disintegrated - great fun to drive. A few of us I am sure are keen to get one but they are pricey. I ran a Kyosho Mad Force plus a Traxxas nitro Sport (which was a lot of fun and I pretty much cut out a rear set of tires on it - the boys like it also). My 10 yr old boy Zac ran his Brat, Fighter RX plus my Stadium Thunder, Sand Scorcher (which had a minor head on with an electric mad force when I was driving), his wild commando (until the pull satrt broke). Only one broken axle shaft on the Stadium thunder - all other breakages were small and fixable. A great day as Mike was back from Australia. And yes I need to invest in some one way bearings for my Nitros. The track dried out late in the afternoon which allow us to run some cars on it which allowed these photos. Great seeing a 959 run also. The time passed very quickly - almost 6 hours. I am glad I took a table as bending down all day to start nitro's is no fun at all. The temp changed so much from morning to afternoon that retuning was required.
