| description | Yesterday night, two friends and I took our scalers out for a spin again before going to our weekly 4x4 club meeting. I took my Land Rover Defender 110 DCPU I recently bought on a german forum. It was the second time I've taken it out. The first time didn't go too well. It had shocks that were way too soft and the servo killed itself after a short time. Plastic gears... The shocks have been replaced by some shortened Axial one and the servo is now a metal geared 15Kg one.
Now it wheels great and with the long wheelbase it did really well on the rocky hills. Although it is still a pure scaler and not meant to be driven like a crawler. But still a fun and great looking vehicle.
