description  Having seen j.weston's superb black runner fox on here it spurred me on to getting all bits and pieces i have of fox's scattered all over into one place. Just as i started arranging them the post man arrived with a haul i won off the bay - including a brand new chassis and two excellent used chassis - when i say used looks to me very little . Also in the haul was a used body which has some light damage and the paint looks like it will strip very nicely, and all the wheels in the back ground including some original wild one wheels which look hardly used. There was some brand new damper cylinders , used drive shafts and lots of other parts. All the other brand new packets on the left are what i had already, including a complete MSC and a used one. 2 complete damper parts bags, 2 sway bar kits- screw pin bags etc..etc.. . Anyway i'm in a position to build almost another complete shelfer and another runner. I love the fox and yet i still have not had a proper run with one so i may have to get busy in the work-shop and build one to use and abuse. Comments welcome as always and thanks for looking. Hot rod

@ mad-bee - you were destined to have a fox buddy, it was part of your history and you would be lost without one!!! (have i sold it to you??? lol) . As we speak i am assessing the parts but unlike the hotshot this may have battle scars lol. Could really do with a gear set so will keep an eye out .When i get one car cobbled together will send you an e-mail with pic see what you think . Cheers buddy

With all the Fox fanatics out there hoarding parts, I have to say I am pinning my hopes on Tamiya re-re'ing it! I want one again.

Good evening mr bee - i have the photos of the hotshot you wanted buddy so will e-mail them to you tom evening..... now then about the fox, i love it and ashamed to say have not run one with venom yet - only a garden run for my runner and thats it. Have decided i will build another runner and keep the very best parts for the future. May gather enough spares to keep my own runner going and one will be sold...... hmmmm wonder who may be interested in a couple of months???? lol - cheers me owd mate

Nice hall of Fox goodies Justin! I havent got a Fox you know!!! I have a lot of good memories of the Fox and it was probably the best buggy that i drove all them years ago! The smoothest for sure! and won me some trophies too! So yes im a fan too! Cheers james.

Thanks sunny and lostwave for the comments ,think we can rest assured tamiya would be very brave re-re ing this as there is virtually no common parts to other cars so expensive risk or pure genius ?? one wonders. Parts sure are rare and yep especially suspension parts and thats what im lacking. Maybe just build a runner and keep the good parts stored. Regards hot rod

I just did pretty much the same as you did. Now I have two runners and one shelf queen, with 3 full cars worth of spares. Unfortunately all 3 spares have the same broken parts, so they aren't very useful. They sure are getting hard to find parts for, especially the suspension parts.

Wow! That's a whole heap of Fox parts! Yes I am too pinning hopes that the Fox is not re:re'd. It was and still is a unique model hence why it's commanding high values in any condition NIB, mint build or restored!

Just pinning my hopes that tamiya don't re-re the fox as it keeps it unique , on the other hand for runner purposes parts are getting hard to come by so for that reason it would be good ? . One chassis is mint and two others (middle two on pic) are used but almost perfect (one has aerial mount broke) the last chassis on the far left of pic is pretty rough with the bumper mount broke off and a crack on the top plate where the g-box fits. Have two myself buddy and not run the runner yet lol.

WOW!! , nice hall of parts . Fox chassis are getting harder to find , Glade i have two . These are great fun to use , as i still have my fox . But won't use it . I still have to build one to use , but it's getting hard to find useable parts . Have fun M8 . good luck .

Will do john - must say i do have a runner already but there is a lot of un-damaged parts on that one so may do a bit of chopping and changing with the bits shown here and make another shelfer, will be a different colour to box art as having seen that gorgeous black one of yours i think it only right lol. Cheers mate
