| description | Finally got around to putting this Avante together, did a quick paint job with some spare paint and decals and now its ready to roll out on the dirt once I get a radio. The kit driver head was very lame so I used one of Beetlelover's (James) super scale looking driver heads. Stay tuned for some action pics cause this ain't gonna be a shelf queen

That looks awesome!
Great to see the Wyoming paint touch on an Avante ! That one looks really different & that works perfectly
Seth this is not your cup of tea is it? but it will sure make a great looking and performing runner!! lets me know how it handles?? Cheers pal.
Its a very cool car if nothing else just to look at the build quality of the chassis. I have not driven this or the Vajra yet but I did apply power to the drivetrain and it is super quiet and smooth well worth owning
It do the same thing with lexan bodies. Just makes them look more solid and complete. It does use more paint, but I can't stand seeing photos of a lexan bodied cars where you can see the same color on the inside through the windows... In this case, the underside of the wing. This one really does look great and the paint scheme different. I'm getting tempted.... hmmm.
Thanks guys, it was fun to build since it has been awhile since I followed the directions from start to finish with a model. I am usually custom building stuff along the way, but with a buggy I don't really do that like on a scale truck. The quality of the parts though is first rate and very satisfying to work with even if just going a-b in the book
Nice build looks real good. I got one of these, I have yet to build. How was the build?
Looks GREAT Seth !!!!!
Nice work. I've taken more of a liking to these over the last couple of years. The same-width front wheels, adjustable wing and metal suspension components really make these rare and interesting to look at.
Looks good, even for a runner/basher. It makes me happy to see you painted the backside of the wing black. Looking forward to the action pix, and your thoughts on driving it. I too have been curious, but don't think I'll get one. Although I guess for you, you now have 2 cars with this chassis?
Now that is hilarious, you like the decal(you should buy the Tshirt), but you don't like the futuristic driver. I like what you have done here, different Avante than anything I have seen before.
Definately fits in with you Baja scheme.. Looks great, looking forward to the sand dune pics..
I really like this! Love the 80's paintscheme. So refreshing from what we usually see (even though I am a boxart fan
Looks like curiosity has killed the Wyoming Cat! Lols ;p Welcome to the Avante fold, nice & differently done in your trademark colours - So now we shall now call it Toyota Avante!
