My Fourth and final Falcon! Love the garish colours (Sky blue and orange! 80s!) on this so much it's going to stay the way it is. Will tidy her up a bit at some point with new modern electrics, a service and some bearings. Love it!

I love that blue. Seems to look good on all the 80's buggies.

@JWeston: Yes its a really nice blue, though on this Falcon it looks a bit odd as you got orange, yellow and red too. But it all kind of works.

@KEV THE REV: Yes, but one of 4 projects. All Falcons; 1 Box-art shelfer, 1 custom shelfer, 1 box-art runner and 1 custom coloured gentle runner

@MAD-BEE: I think these should be run gently, keep it scale. No big jumps etc, then plastics should last a bit. I always wondered what happened to your Cornwall Falcon as I wouldn't have minded getting my hands on that, as one of my Falcons is destined for that very same paint job. One of the things I like about these is the plush suspension, set just right it handles really well, just need a few counter weights at the front and the Falcon turns with speed really well. No worry's on the error, I've shown both so folk understand

My Cornish Falcon has flown the nest!!
I had to make some cuts to my collection and with regret my Falcon was sold!
But it was ONLY just a bit lower on my list of cars to keep! beaten by my very loved Holiday Buggy, Sand Scorcher and F.A.V!
My Mad Fighter stayed because of its cheap running parts! as money is short these days so an ideal runner to bash about with down the beach without stressing!

but will miss owning a Falcon! I drove my old Falcon a lot and its was awesome and fast and I did some big jumps with no problem....but the last time it did come home with a cracked chassis and a cracked arm!lol

but I never had trouble with the gearbox or drive shafts and that amuses me as the Falcon has a reputation for being weak in this area!
but I never has brushless in it mind!
Cheers pal.

@MAD-BEE: Cant wait to get my runner up and out for a bash. Think I'll start with a Sport Tuned to play it safe. I wonder how hot a motor it can take? It'll be fun finding out. I got a sweet yokoma 14x2 motor but me thinks it'll be a tad too much, unless I excelerate gently. Though that sort of idea goes out of the window as soon as you hit terrafirma

@MAD-BEE: Almost forgot, love the ones you kept. I thinks keeping that red SS is a good idea, it looks really sweet.

Thanks mate, I am so happy I did not sell my Scorcher now!

and I would keep away from that 14x2!!
The most I put in my Falcon was a 19x2 and that was on the edge stuff!!lol.
Cheers buddy.

@MAD-BEE: Thanks for the info, I'll keep the motor limit to a 19turn, nothing lower. I got a nice 21t on the shelf so might just put that in the runner. I got another 19turn that has low torque so it doesn't unleash instantly, that would probably be the safetst bet as it'd give me high top speeds. Tah MD.
