Hi all here's my latest project I traded this ranger for a 959 ,I thought I'd be a bit bold as I've already got a blue ranger so I went with a retro 70's gold theme ,the car has been totally restored so it's like new it's got as1 servos and matching reciever all working fine ,I would like to hear your comments on whether to put decals on it I've got a set of original decals ready to go but not to sure whether to apply them anyway another ranger saved and restored and another srb for the collection ,oh the colour is ford Arizona gold it looks great!!!!

This turned out great. Very nice to see a project been taking good care off. It looks very good without the decals, but I think I would put them on anyway.

Great Looking Ranger! As much as I love Tamiya Box art Its really nice to see models done in unique colours. Your ranger looks proper 70's! If the driver had legs he'd be wearing flares! aha cheers

Looks great that way, but if you want, you could always get some chocolate brown pinstriping going on for a bit of a break from the gold. Nice job

That is really tidy.
I could see it with the ranger body graphics... It may be perfect then. No sponsor stickers though!

I would put the decals on! I left my bruiser without decals on and everytime I looked at it I thought 'shall I or not?' done me head in!, anyway top ranger and really good colour!

Thanks for all the comments I've decided to go with the side stripes it looks much better and they really match the gold ,I think I'll leave all the other decals off maybe a couple of small ford decals but that would be it !!!!.

Looking good in Gold, even better with the decals to break up and define the Ranger shape. Nicely done.

Looks great in gold, an inspired choice.

Very sweet ranger, nice work. I agree the stoping looks better, gives more depth which means more scale looking. Just my opinion.

That's a stunner. I had the same dilemma with my Grey painted shell and preferred it with decals
